Domestic violence is a pattern of behaviors used by one partner to maintain power and control over another partner in any intimate relationship. In the broadest sense, domestic violence can involve violence against spouses, partners, children, parents, and even the elderly. Domest Violence, does not need to be physical and takes a number of other forms including verbal, emotional, economic, religious, reproductive, and sexual abuse.
